The Allergen Response Research Center is a unique facility that houses two separate and specifically engineered Allergen Exposure Units (AEU). These facilities are exposure units that are designed to provide an atmosphere with uniform concentrations of naturally occurring allergens for periods up to 12 hours. Variations in the allergen concentration levels (both intrasession and intersession) are minimized by the use of precision allergen concentration measurements and variable pollen output supply systems. The larger unit accommodates 150 subjects, while the smaller unit accommodates 14 subjects, each unit may function independently of the other.

Allergen Response Research Center provides a high quality clinical research site with experience and resources situated in a state-of-the-art specially engineered facility. Atlanta is one of the nation’s most diverse and rapidly growing metropolitan areas. The highly trained physicians and staff associated with the allergen exposure units are qualified and licensed medical professionals with experience in conducting Phase II through Phase IV clinical trials. The experience and resources of the Allergen Response Research Center with Atlanta Allergy & Asthma Clinic, and Rx Research provides one central source for high quality clinical research trials.
